GIC’s Vision

At Global Insight Conferences, we are not only passionate about producing quality events, but also about making a difference in our wider community and world. Since the company was founded, Global Insight Conferences has strived to help and contribute to a growing number and range of truly wonderful charities.

A21 Campaign

The A21 Campaign operates in 11 different countries and aims to tackle and abolish human trafficking. Slavery exists today and is the second largest source of illegal income worldwide, exceeded only by drugs trafficking. People are trafficked into prostitution, begging, forced labour, military service, domestic servitude, forced illegal adoption and forced marriage. www.a21.org

Vision Rescue

Vision Rescue seeks to empower and aid individuals living in slum communities in Mumbai. With 23 million people in the capital city, over half of these occupy slums and a shocking 70% of the children are uneducated, malnourished and exposed to risk. visionrescue.us

WWF

For nearly 60 years, WWF has been protecting the future of nature. WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by close to five million members globally. WWF’s unique way of working ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature. At Global Insight Conferences we purchase our speaker gifts from the WWF online shop, thus funding the works of this wonderful charity. www.worldwildlife.org

Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child

In December of 2016, GIC organised and participated in their first ever annual Christmas shoebox donation as part of the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. This appeal has been operated by Samaritan’s Purse since 1990, and has meant that over 124 million impoverished children from 150 different countries have received a shoebox full of presents to celebrate the joy of Christmas.
