The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll be selling sponsorship and exhibition opportunities for our flagship conferences.
That means:
Researching and identifying new business opportunities
Building your own sales pipeline
Reaching out to potential clients by phone, email, and LinkedIn

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Database Marketing Executive with experience in Salesforce to enhance our sales and marketing strategies and our customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will manage and optimise our customer database, ensuring that the data is accurately maintained and cleansed to improve targeted campaigns and analyse results.

DATABASE MANAGEMENT
· Responsible for uploading lists and managing all data in Salesforce
· Responsible for unsubscribing people from the database to ensure that it is GDPR compliant
· Maintain the database to ensure that each contact is marked up based on the industry that they work in
· Prepping and checking data is accurate and complete before added to salesforce
· Event data closedowns across all conferences
· Create and manage automated workflows across our marketing and sales platforms
· Use Salesforce reports and dashboards to track key metrics such as customer engagement, retention, and conversion rates.
· Ensure all marketing activities comply with data protection regulations
· Responsible for integrating third-party tools and data sources with salesforce
· Manage opt-in/opt-out processes and maintain data security standards across the company

MARKETING TEAM SUPPORT
· Perform regular analysis of database information to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business strategies.
· Develop and generate ad hoc reports as required by the management or other departments.
· Selecting relevant data for marketing and sales campaigns
· Updating their data on a weekly basis to ensure that expired lists are being emailed and the latest lists are in the campaigns
· Tracking and analysing bookings, which source and channel they come from

KEY COMPETENCIES
